» This planet is similar to mid-20th century Earth, apparently. Now THERE'S a surprise! Why are there never any 19th-century planets, so they can do a Jane Austen-style episode? Or medieval planets, with lots of sword-fighting and so on?

» Wesley goes off to frolic in the snow with his young friend.

» The women on Angel One are all big and butch, while the men are small and weedy. What is this, Russia?

» Picard is splattered with a sticky white substance that leaves a strange smell. Fortunately, it's only a snowball...

» The weird little servant man - Trent - minces into the room and sprays himself with perfume. And people complain about Star Trek's portrayal of homosexuality, can't think why...

» Riker puts on an earring and shirt which shows off his bare chest. "You look handsome," says Beata. "You look like a complete and utter tosser!" says the audience.

» Picard has the flu, leaving Geordi to fly the ship. So if they end up crashing into an asteroid or something, we'll know it's the fault of the idiot who left the blind man in charge.

» Beata carts Riker off to the bedroom. It would have been interesting at this point to see him express his indignation at being treated like a sex object, and perhaps learning something about his own treatment of women, but instead he just shrugs and goes along with it. Typical!

» The away team finally find one of the escapees from Earth, Ramsey, looking like a refugee from Miami Vice.

» The entire crew of the Enterprise has the flu, even the non-humans. What kind of disease IS this?!

» Ramsey doesn't want him and his mates to be rescued, as they have wives on this planet. Three or four each, in fact...it's a hard life...

» Beata says the men get all the pleasure while the women have all the responsibility. Where do I sign up?!

»"You attract me like no man ever has." What is this, Chasing Amy?

» Trent arrives to join in the fun, but leaves disappointed.

» Ramsey wants to stay, and the away team can't force him to leave. So, that mission was a complete waste of time then...

» Beata sentences Ramsey's gang to death. Which would have been slightly more threatening if she hadn't been searching in vain for them for SEVEN YEARS...

» Picard is seen bare-chested as well! What is this, a competition?

» Ramsey is captured, but still refuses to leave the planet. "They've got this special shampoo here, I just can't live without it!" he explains.

» Data is alone on the bridge, and has calculated they have 47 minutes before they have to set off to the Neutral Zone in order to get there before the Romulans blast some other Starfleet ships into pieces. Wouldn't it be better to get there as fast as possible anyway, just in case?

» To show off their execution chamber, they disintegrate a priceless ancient vase. "Ooh no, they shouldn't have done that, should they Bargain Hunters?" asks David Dickinson, shaking his head sadly.

» Riker makes a big speech, but Beata orders the execution anyway. Could they be going for a realistic but downbeat ending after all? No, the execution is halted at the last possible moment. This IS the Eighties, after all...

» And just as they're setting off on their way to a huge battle with the Romulans, the episode ENDS! AAARRGGGHHHH!!!
